Piyush is an Associate Editor of NFRAL and an experienced international disputes lawyer qualified to practice law in the State of New York and India. As a Counsel at SIAC, Piyush is involved in the administration of arbitrations under the SIAC Rules and UNCITRAL Rules, and assists with the appointment of arbitrators in ad hoc arbitrations.
Before joining SIAC, as a Senior Associate in the disputes team of one of the largest Indian law firms, Piyush represented clients in arbitrations and litigations. He earned his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from the National Law University, Jodhpur and earned his Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree, on a scholarship, from the University of Chicago Law School, where he was the Vice-President of the International Law Society.
Piyush also serves on the Editorial Board of Kluwer Arbitration Blog as an Assistant Editor.
